In news:
- Badoer will continue driving at least for Spa
- Ferrari's race pace has been getting better, when you add to that Kimi's past on the track + the fact this is his favourite track, we might see a Ferrari on 1st spot first time this season? Also, there's a rumor the track will be renamed Spa Räikköschamps.

Look for Red Bull to bounce back, the cooler conditions will suit them.

Ferrari are still not their pace wise to challenge for top spot.

I have only ever been to Silverstone. Every year I say to the old man that we should go to more as he used to drive to most of the "local" races but we never get around to it.

Btw drinks, care to explain the new sig ? [surrender]

Yeah I always try to do Silverstone every year, Donington should make a nice change I guess!

But Spa is awesome, the elevation change on parts like Eau Rouge don't really come across on TV! I was completely knackered walking the track.

Oh, my sig is in honour of all the lovely people here, they love candy!

2008 - Felipe Massa, Ferrari I wonder if we'll find out the winner of the race on Sunday afternoon this year or if we'll have to wait till the following week

Any idea what the weather forecast is for this weekend? Spa produces fantastic races, but when it's wet it's just something else [thumbup] Though I fear it would just lead to the Red Bulls dominating >.<

Hehe yeah, me and my bro were at a train station about 2 hours after the race had finished discussing the awesomeness of the race we had just witnessed, then we overheard some Ferrari fanboys saying that Lewis had be demoted and were (naturally) laughing about it.... we thought they were wankers and moved on.

Still, he won the WDC in the end despite their joyous inbred pleasures. [thumbup]

Oh please don't start it [surrender]
Lewis getting demoted was the only right decision to do based on the rules.

Red Bulls will dominate but since Ferrari has quite good race pace, and Kimi is exceptionally good on this track, he'll repeat the move Häkkinen made on Schumacher in 2000 race
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5h-HTv9d4c
That was seriously the greatest overtake in F1 history
Nah, it was done on a straight with a speed advantage

But it was exciting!

I'd put Alonso's overtake at 130R above this, he played chicken with MS and MS backed out.

I remember that, that was definitely a steel balls move...

Because Kimi ran him wide and he couldn't slow down for the corner, remember? He had no choice other than running into Kimi when he cut the corner - even then when he let Kimi past, he still was able to chase him down and pass him - remember when he let Kimi past, kimi was obviously travelling faster yet Hamilton still made up the ground.
Poor call by the FIA, no question, for what was a racing incident!

Hamilton has done a few dumb things, but this wasn't one of them.

Back on topic - any more news about the weather situation?

Yeah, on a straight with the speed advantage...

THIS is driving on a way higher skill level: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsNEw8ORlGw

Michael on slicks, Damon on wets, in the rain.

Damon overtook him at the end of that vid though

Both those video's demonstrate the fear that all non KERS cars will have on the first lap, Unless you get away and get a big buffer through eau rouge, you will lose your position to the Kers car behind you.

I think that the Red Bulls will be the ones taking the fight to Hamilton, but he will be in 1st place once he activates KERS and boosts past.

they were using it on the run up to eau rouge, but then it definitely sounded like some lift off towards the top. in the wet obviously.
