Technically you should either buy two copies or the Family pack which was $50 and comes with 5 licenses. I am surprised that the store you went to didn't have any, most of the copies left when I went on my lunch break on Friday were the Family packs.
Florida was crap for availability. The apple store in Tampa is closed for renovation until next week, and my local best buy sold their 100 copies in a matter of hours. I had to drive to further location, but they didn't even get any family packs until monday, and I'm quite impatient.

Weird, according to CNET load times of all major apps are slightly slower across the board . They've got benchmarks and numbers to back it up as well.

Maybe the actual GUI is more responsive and fluid but the bigger applications and processes take a bit longer? Anyone care to give some insight?

I would agree actually, apps seem to take a little longer to open, but when open seem to work faster. So go figure.

I think for the most part, overall general usage is much quicker. Everything simply seems to be be much more fluid overall.
