Hah! cant stop laughing at that comment [rofl]

Looony, nice action, would be good to get a 2nd camera on the passanger headrest and do picture in picture so we can see what you are doing [thumbup]

Keep it up though

tbth..

theres not much point with a drive by wire throttle system, well unless you have a sprint booster fitted to eradicate the pedal lag.

Thanks for your comments, I'll keep practicing . . .

Yeah gotta love the whine

I know what you mean about smooth braking, its just practise . . . thats the hardest bit.

Not too bad. Car sounds pretty nice. I take it you have the standard clutch in that then?

I hate it when people drive my impreza and don't know how to heal and toe.

You are right.

MPG ranges from 32mpg if its ONLY motorway. But most of my driving is town / country roads so I'm getting 24.5

And I get NO throttle lag, its amazing. And the supercharger is like having an Orchestra in your car 24/7 [thumbup]

Mine is an 'old version' its a 2004 Supercharged, the new cooper s's (06 onwards) are turbo'd

Yeah they may SAY 45, you wont get that. If I drive like a granny I could get 35. But when you drive a Cooper S the supercharger is YELLING "drive me like a LOOONY!!"

My GTO is kind of a pain in the ass to heel/toe, the pedal is hinged so if you dont get your foot right at the fulcrom point (which is low) then it doesnt really do anything

i think the older ones were only supposed to do about 33mpg anyway so not so bad. i think the newer ones could only every get 45 by driving off boost everywhere too anyway.

I don't get it. What is "Heal & Toeing" trying to accomplish exactly?

BTW I didn't know Velcro shoes were even made anymore.

You are matching the revs in a lower gear.

When you at at 5000rph in 4th, if you change to 3rd, the revs will be about 6000rpm.

So by blipping the throttle with your heel, you hit 600rpm so when 3rd engages its smooth and keeps the revs up so you can accelerate hard away.
