Not too bad. Car sounds pretty nice. I take it you have the standard clutch in that then? Yeah standard clutch, with OEM diff..... Did you get her past 60MPH? ![]() a cooper s is pretty nippy, i really like them, its probably my second choice car. ![]() And I get NO throttle lag, its amazing. And the supercharger is like having an Orchestra in your car 24/7 [thumbup] |

aren't they supposed tog et about 45mpg though? or is it one of the older ones? my civic is supposed to get 31, and gets 29 with a fair bit of the old vtec too. Yeah they may SAY 45, you wont get that. If I drive like a granny I could get 35. But when you drive a Cooper S the supercharger is YELLING "drive me like a LOOONY!!" [thumbup] |

I don't get it. What is "Heal & Toeing" trying to accomplish exactly? When you at at 5000rph in 4th, if you change to 3rd, the revs will be about 6000rpm. So by blipping the throttle with your heel, you hit 600rpm so when 3rd engages its smooth and keeps the revs up so you can accelerate hard away. |
