Yeah, they really got their act together, Kovalainen almost got the pole but the last corners mistake took it from him, not bad considering he has the old car while Hamilton got all the new stuff for this race. |

The modifictions on Lewis car are apparently aimed at the faster circuits coming up like Spa and Monza, but yeah Heikki messed up the last corner... close call though.- |

Badoer...what a waste of an F1 drive. Would have been better to run 1 car and save the engine/trans/brakes.
2 seconds slower in a Ferrari ? And that "not raced in an F1 car" excuse is BS to, there have been 2 other drivers who raced for the first time in F1 cars (Alguersuari, Grosjean) and did MUCH better than Badoer. He is supposed to be a test driver, how can he be this slow ? Whats the point of developing the car with a driver that can get nowhere close to its limits ? |

Yeah the lack of tires did him absolutely no favours, but Rubens drove a very good race and is a worthy winner. Lewis will definitely be in contention for race wins for the rest of the season anyway. Car at the beginning of the season ? Undrivable. Car at present ? Very managable judging by some of the in car footage from today. Very smooth and no big correction required. I reckon the Ham could finish in the top 4 or 5 after a pretty difficault year. |
