Default Help me buy a TV
I want a new 1080p digital HDTV about 40"- 42". I am not sure which one to get.

What about this - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218079755374 ???

I think 120Hz is the way to go because at 60Hz every 3d frame is repeated twice in 24fps film material, which in the end can cause artifacts and choppiness.

That makes no sense but that TV should be decent.

120hz allows Blu-rays frames (24hz) to hold for five refreshes and then broadcast will hold for two since it is 60hz. Don't know where you are making up this 3D stuff from but it made me chuckle.

60hz displays have been able to handle the pulldown with little to no tearing or judder for years now.
