check out the French History 1871-present. The professor seems kind of cool.

Yeah, when I came across it, I thought it was a great thing to listen to while browsing, or killing time, ect.. However, after watching a few of them now, they really offer something to behold.

The UK's Open University offers something along a similar lines here:

http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/

There's a huge range of topics to browse through.

If you have iTunes installed, click on store and then iTunes U on the left nav bar.

edit - Yeah you need iTunes. It's worth it if you like this stuff though. Consider it that damn 3 hour lab you have to take with the class :P

Here is the main screen to give you an idea of the range of topics

I can understand not wanting to buy Apple products (very expensive!), but iTunes is free so what is the big deal? Even if you install it just for iTunes U (which has loads of engineering stuff, btw), thats fine. Why so much hate? A little care when installing and some post install tweaks, it doesn't start with windows or change anything...

OMG APPLE SUCKS LOL

so let me get this straight, if they are offering what you are looking for you would not install thier software to access that information? that seems pretty damn silly to me guys.
