I do hope Asafa can pull a medal, but I don't think Bolt will go that fast. I'm not saying he can't, just that he won't. The athletes receive a payment for each new WR; that's why the pole vaulters do it in small increments.
That said, if Gay pushes him all the way he might not be able to judge it and will pull some silly time out of the bag. I'd like to see the top 3 going sub-9.8; I'd really like to see them go sub 9.7, but that'd be silly! |

I wasn't far out on my predictions... Bolt will be the first man to go sub 9.50 for 100m and 19s for 200m... however, I'll reserve judgement on him until retirement... however, he's the most natural athlete sprinter I've seen since Carl Lewis... phenomenal, however fair play to Gay, he was awesome as well and pushed him all the way... Bolt not 100% wouldn't have won that race IMHO...
