I think they all suck to be honest. That being said, I remember liking Maximum PC when I had a subscription. There was another one I liked too, but I can't remember the name, I think it had overclocking in the title though. Overclockers Club or something like that? They used to have quite a bit of stuff on OCing and extreme cooling.

they all suck and are a waste of money compared to the information on the internet These days every information you read in the magazines are old news to you as you have read them on the internet before. Some might say "then stop surfing the web" but thats a silly advice of course since you need the web for your job too or for games and forums, and always come across interesting bits of information which make you read further. Yay on the ultimate speed of information the internet brings us, but gone are the cozy times of curling up in your favorite armchair with a good magazine. "Ohh, Mortal Combat is coming out and they tested it on a 486DX vs the Pentium, cool. More on page 41, lets see...!" Aaah... those were the days. ![]() |

Only one I ever considered subscribing too is the now defunct PC Accelerator..I think it died around 1997-1998, I still have the last edition and 2-3 more. |
