Intel of course.

Even Prescocks could break 4Ghz easy but due to its enoumous heat it required VPC cooling. Here's mine under VPC. That chip was such a scorching POS.

Hahaha, that screenshot brings back memories :d

And I've been here "forever", too...and I'm posting in general discussion 99,99%, so my post count doesn't go up as well ^^

Intel was better until AMD brought out their Athlon XP on October 9, 2001, then Pentium 4 got assaulted bigtime. No one was gonna convince me that the previous AMD Thunderbird at 1.33GHz was superior to a Pentium 4 1.5GHz with RDRAM.

I was then a staunch AMD supporter until end of 2006 going into '07, when I got my Core 2 Quad Q6600 and have loved Intel more ever since!
Even a top tier P3 was faster than the first P4s, they sucked big time.

It was getting raped by a S754 3200+. Prescott was prolly the biggest POS ever released by Intel.

I meant Willamette. Northwoods were the first P4s in S478, those were good. The S423 P4s were complete POS.

[rolleyes] I like ATI/AMD more than Intel/Nvidia, so what. I also prefer Chevrolet over Ford and dark chocolate over milk chocolate. I talk about what I like, why wouldn't I?

The question is, why do you like AMD/ATi more than Intel/nVidia? OK i can understand ATi maybe, but AMD, Why for ****s sake, their best chip is arguably as fast as Intel's two years old+ Q6600. Wake up and check out some reviews, pal. [rofl]
