Default 34 hospitalized after co-worker sprays perfume
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32211539/?gt1=43001

Well that's gotta be awkward! (for the person who sprayed the perfume)

Another one for the "You can't make this stuff up, folks" category.

Where I work we have a policy against that. No spraying crap, no overpowering prefume/cologne. NOBODY listens to it. Throughout the day I smell hairspray, nail polish, and about 5 different scents of random crap. The center manager works out over lunch and drenches himself in cologne. You can smell him coming...

We recently had someone burn popcorn in the microwave at work. Some people complained a bit, (mostly people just coming into work from outside and going what the hell is that!)

Within minutes a manager came through and asked each employee (several hundred people) individually whether it would be okay to spray air freshener.

I thought it was funny. I was at my desk, pounding away at my keyboard oblivious to the world when she clears her throat to catch my attention then almost nervously asked the question, probably because if her solution made anyone sick there would be hell to pay. [yes]

Give me a friggen break, you go into any large workplace on a nice sunny day and announce that anyone feeling a little ill should exit and go home , trust me that place will be a ghost town in seconds.

Hey I would.[thumbup]

I feel your pain, my ******** carries a half mile exclusion zone. Everytime I let one I have to contend with Greenpeace harrying my ringpiece in their little inflatable dingies.
