Does Jupiter have solid ground? I heard that when a planet becomes to big it's unable to hold mass or something and turns into a gas planet. And I also remember watching a small documentary of Nasa sending a satelite into Jupiter and it never hit gorund it just burnt up.

Also why does Jupiter look the way it does? Why does it have different colours in sets of lines? I know the planet is very stormy but what makes the colours set in those particular places and not bunched together?
