A few of my friends ordered a bunch. They are now waiting for their cancellation email.

Aren't the 7200.11 drives the ones that people were having the problems with? Even so, if I could have tried it, I would have... 1 TB for $7. [rofl]

I have one of those drives and have no issues. I haven't heard of any issues either.

Though, one of my 500giggers when i first got it died in a week. Replaced it for free and from looking around online, it is/was quiet common for the 500's to go. Could be the same for the 1tb's and I hope not as well.

FYI it was only the sd15 firmware drives that were failing, they updated the firmware and put a fixed version avaliable for download, I have 3 7200.11 drives and not 1 problem

Amazon mis-prices items quite regularly, they always cancel though.
