well see about that!
We just need someone somewhere to break Drapers jaw again
We got McCarty back now who will bash that person's face in just like last time. Here is a reminder. http://youtube.com/watch?v=C7DlAjrhm9s
The video quality is kind of bad but the point is made.

Awesome! I can't wait for a four game steamrolling by Detroit; it will be sweet to finish off the Avs in their own house.

Been there quite a few times so I grew some affection for the local teams. Been a Cowboy's fan since 1992 and a Stars fan basically since the 1996/1997 season. Have been stayin in Lewisville and Denton most of the time, too many Sooners fans there though! [rofl]

Anyway, GO STARS!

Yeah, but it was worth it, every time. Loved it there and still miss the place and the people sometimes. One time the direct flight to DFW was cancelled so I had to go through Toronto, Atlanta and then Dallas with three different airlines. Thats was like a 24h trip, lol. [rofl]

I'm a lowly Kings fan. *sigh*

I guess I'd like to see a finals matchup of Detroit/Montreal (two fo the original six teams) or maybe a Stars/Penguins or Stars/Rangers matchup. I don't care who it is as long as the Sharks get taken out by Dallas (I hate the friggin' Sharks LOL). The other team I hate, Anaheim, is already out of it, so there ya go...

Good win for the Wings tonight. One more and we can get ready to play Dallas in the conference finals.

Dallas is also three ahead of the Sharks now, seems like both teams will get some rest before that final battle starts. I guess whoever wins that series will win the Stanley Cup.

I see a Red-wings vs Penguins finals.

My Red-wings win 4-2.

Thats what I'm hoping for anyhow. Dallas is playing really good hockey right now.

There's a high probability of that happening, but I'd say everyone should take it one series at a time. Not closing out the series when up 3-0 could be a big blow mentally, and it would mean a couple extra days of tension and worrying before returning for the additional games, so these game fours are important in a lot of ways. The Penguins are a good club in a lot of ways, as well; it really bothers me when people suggest that the team is no deeper than Crosby, because that's definitely not the case. Anyway, here's to hoping for a Detroit vs. Montreal final! [surrender]

Well this evening is make or break for the Canadiens, if they win then it's a best-of-3 series, if not well....Flyers vs Pens in the Eastern Conference final series.

I can't believe I didn't see this thread earlier. Wings fan here [thumbup] And of course they'll oust the Stars in 5.

I have to give it to Turco and the Stars though, that 4OT game was awesome

C'me on Stars, where's that spirit from '99!
I think it left along with Hatcher, Carbonneau, Hull, Nieuwendyk, Keane, Langenbrunner and Sydor. [rolleyes]

The Stars still have some leaders (and guys who lead by example) but not nearly as many as they used to have. Detroit, on the other hand, has 4 solid lines and all of them play a fast (but very disciplined) game that keeps multiple options open for their puckhandlers, and their left-wing lock defense is still functioning well. I want the Pens to win the cup, but I don't know how they are going to handle a team playing as well as Detroit is right now.

Then again, who knows if the Pens will even make it to the finals for sure? They are ahead 2-0 right now, but the games have been relatively close and they go back to Philly tonight. The Flyers were hitting Malkin like they were trying to physically impair him in the last game.
