Default What kind of vinegar does Subway use?
Because that **** is deliocious! I want to drink a bottle of it straight! I bough some vinegar (apple cider... lol) in Wal-Mart and it tastes nothing like Subway's...

Anyone know where I can buy a gallon or two?

Ew,I can't stand vinegar, the smell of it makes me want to projectile vomit everything I've eaten in the past several weeks all around the room.

Good luck though.

Did you see it? If so what did it look like (colour, consistency etc). It may be balsamic vinegar - one of the sweetest, most flavoursome vinegars imo.

Yeah, it's a red color, and they call it Red Wine Vinegar... But I've never seen red wine vinegar in a grocery store.

Keep looking, it's fairly common. Do you have a smaller store like Trader Joe's?

We have Wal-Mart, and another chain. I'll check out the other chain, or maybe I was just looking in the wrong part of Wal-Mart.

Red Wine Vinegar is as common as corn oil. Go look again, Wal-Mart even sells its own great value type.

I didn't know if SUBWAY had a special blend of oils or anything, that was more the question at hand...

Its still probably not the same, most likely Subway add something else or water it down a bit, certainly you can't just sup red wine vinegar that I have in the cupboard [rofl]

Bought some today at Wal-Mart, it's closer, but not the same, this stuff is gross.

I just need to find a friend that works at Subway that could "lose" a gallon of the stuff one day.

It would complete my kitchen! My roommate works at a local restaurant chain, and we've got a freezer full of hamburger patties, tubs full of Cajun ranch, and single serving Kraft mac and cheese! [rofl]

After some investigation, Subway just calls it Red Wine Vinegar, but it actually isnt!
The real Subway vinegar is Fine White Wine Vinegar mixed with a splash of Red Wine Vinegar.
