Dunno what to say but I feel sorry for them. From what I heard it's meant to be the largest cyclone ever, but my sources of information may be incorrect.
If only the cyclone could hit Victoria instead so it would rid the massive bushfires. Come to think about it Australia has been getting battered pretty bad lately ![]() ![]() |

I live in the southern-most part of the current warning "watch" area. Meaning that I'm supposed to think about the possibility of having to become prepared, more or less. Of course the wife immediately wants to buy barrels of drinking water, tinned food and batteries. I'm expecting we might get flooded, but not expecting the wind to start damaging anything.

Yeah they come along the Queensland coast once in a while. Or there's a lot of rain and wind from ones that stay offshore. Larry came along just a little less than 3 years ago:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Larry That was further North, which is more typical. Back in the 70's one came far enough South that Brisbane (capital city) was flooded. |

Oh if any onions are in the area you're more than welcome to hang out. I'll be around Until April 5th. ![]() |
