I'm talking about your favorite main battle tank.

My modern age top 6.
1* My favorite is probably the Challenger 2, the current british MBT.
2* Merkava Mk-4 (Israel)
3* Abraham tank (Usa)
4* Leopard 2 (Germany)
5* K2 Black Panther (South Korea)
6* Leclerc (France)

My World war 2 top 5.
1* Tiger I (Germany
2* IS2 (Iosif Stalin 2 tank) (IS3) Russia
3* Tiger II (Königstiger / King Tiger) Too little, too late though.
4* M26 Pershing (Usa)
5* T34 (Russia)

What is your favorite MBT top 5?

Well I dont have a "top five main battle tank list" as I'm not really into that field, but I like the Leopard II, and as far as old tanks go, the Panther (WW2) is my favourite.

Because medium and light tanks got replaced by IFVs, a top 3 would make more sense for modern MBT (there is not WW2 MBT, only medium and heavy tanks).

T80 (due to the use of advanced technology like active countermeasures, self-loader, gas turbine)
Leclerc (advanced technology and very good power to weight ratio)
M1 (due to smaller size and gas turbine, it beats the Leaopard 2)

The Challenger 2 only exists because the UK wanted to save their arms industry, commanders prefered the Leopard 2 (I wonder if the needed the Germans to fix up the Challenger like they needed HK to fix their assault rifles)

T-34
IS-2

The Tiger and Tiger II, while very effective in the right circumstances, suffered from insufficent range. The KV-2 would be the best Tank at the time russia got invaded.

Leopard 2 top my list for it's reliability and flexibility. the M1's dependency on jet fuel means you can't just stop by an enemy fuel depot, additional stress on supply lines.

World war 2
1. T34
2. Tiger

fast, well armed and able to take punishment, quick to build. it is funny as hell when soviet use T34 to ram expensive Tigers out of action.

Depends what I am DPSing with. Warriors seem to hold aggro almost instantly so i would have to say they are my favorite tanks. Then would have to be the Pally. Uber aoe tanking. Next would be DK, seems to take a sec for some to get agro on many mobs. Last would be druids.

And I would have a hard time picking a favorite MODERN tank seeing as how I don't know much about tanks from other countries. Now WW2 is a whole different thing completely.

1) Tiger tank
2) Panzer IVc (ahh, memories of BF1942)
3) Sherman (even if it was a veritable deathtrap)
4) Panzer Maus (neat idea, even if it was too big to be of much use)
5) Panzer Panther
