Default weird, parcelforce.com detects operating sys - features disabled on linux / OSX
how completely bizarre.

seems that the parcelforce.com website detects the operating system you use - and disables certain features if you are running linux - firefox or not.

parcelforces reply was "It is not cost effective for us to ensure that the website supports every single operating system and browser available."

thats not really the point. why is the OS being detected?

one of our programmers using linux managed to use the site by spoofing the user agent - and using firebug to edit the source HTML to enable a submit button.

its worth a read, even if just for the retarted comments by parcelforce support.

parcelfarce > http://www.parcelforce.com

seems odd for them to actually go out of the way to disable functionality by detecting the operating system

Surely the OS is completely irrelevant and it's more down to the browser being used to access the site?
