I've known about them for a very long while. I know they work, though I'm not sure of the degree of control you can acheive For instance typing without a keyboard....etc.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826100006 Seems to me like it could be fairly limited. I don't plan on buying of these, just saw it when I was looking for a new flight stick and thought "hey, that would be cool." |

from all i have read, suprisingly well, but ultimately like ass, if that makes any sense. ie, you have to train your face/eyes to get them to work, and for very simple things, you can manage but they still have a long way to go before they are reliable and useful. |

I actually got the OCZ Neural Impulse Actuator and I must say I am a little disappointed. While it does work, if you just get the calibration and connection good, you will have to train yourself A LOT A LOT A LOT. I am not that really patient to learn and also, you need to make have a great sense of tactics and strategy how to make profiles. For example, when you move your eye brows to the left you press a button is a easy stuff but when it comes to multiple cordination like aiming in FPS it will be very hard.
Anyway, I am gonna keep it for a while to see how it works with future drivers, profiles and if my interest goes up I might start using it. It's a fun thing to have but it's not a replacement for the mouse or keyboard. That will take ages for that unless a revolution shows up. ![]() |

It's not as good as it may appear.
The problem is, it doesn't work by thought. I.e. you can't just think left, and it will move left, or think fire, and it fires. You have to physically move the part of the body it's attached to. But if that's the case, you might aswell put your keyboard to your face and start pressing buttons with your nose, because it amounts to the same thing. |
