the streams are only 512k... im sure your PC has more than enough power to handle it... install flash player 10 and right click on any flash video and select settings... there should be an option to enable hardware acceleration which should speed it up a bit |

An alternative is Zettoo. It is actually a program you can download for Mac/Linux/Windows (so not web based), but it others higher bitrate channels.
http://zattoo.com/ It should be noted that Zettoo works in many European counties and the channel's available depend on what country you are in. So French users won't get BBC, but will get some of their national channels. |

I think Zetto would be useful if I want to watch TV and surf the net at the same time since you can resize the image, which you can't do with TVCatchup, so I can have the TV on one side of my monitor and my web browser on the other. |
