Has anyone seen the Max Payne film yet?

I seen it and wasn't that impressed with it. He was pretty good in shooter, bourne Supremacy, Identity, Ultimatum, etc. I'm not really sure what happened in this movie it just wasn't for him i guess.

ricanpimp:

That is the point i didn't like it. If you like it then that is fine for you. But remember just because you liked it doesn't mean everyone else will like it also. I just made it a point it should have been more along the line of the game not swapped out from a guy to a girl. It just wasn't what i was expecting.......

Um Mark Whalberg isn't in the Bourne series....

Goldern Eye would be another.
goldeneye would be the best. although thats more like film to game rather than game to film.

Riddick was one of those rare examples when the game was better than the movie, I can't think of many movie-tie-in-game-tie-in-games turned out that well.

Maybe Jumper..... hurrrrrrrr
would riddick count? pitch black was excellent and well before escape from butcher bay (which was a prequel to the entire series)

Mortal Kombat 1, in its day it stood up pretty well and they tried to stay quite faithful to the game and the theme music had people rocking for months .

Hitman, also quite good but considering the generic nature of the game any Hollywood script about a hitman in a suit would have worked.

The rest in large have been pretty poor, Max Payne was one i really had high hopes for but it was destroyed...why couldnt they just stick to the actual games story.

Default The best game to movie adaptation?
With people like Uwe Boll single handingly ruining every game franchise out there, what do you think have been the best game to movie adaptions to date (if any)?

I actually think Silent Hill is pretty good, although when it comes to anything Mario related... I'd rather do a belly flop off a 40 story building.
