Default Sony KDL-40V4000 - £550 - Good LCD?
Seems like a brilliant price? How about the TV, is it any good? Might pick one up at the end of the month.

Would prefer a credit, so see it at dixons with a good deal for £730 and 6 months interest free which works better for me? I cant link direct to Dixons due to session cookie crap.

Will Currys match dixons, or even PC World ( i know they are owned by same company, just heard some people have? )

Very good TV... I've got the W series, same size, and the only difference between that and the V series TV you're looking at is the 100Hz motion (I think, but I could be wrong, as I first assumed only the X series has 100Hz, if someone else can confirm?), which is a pretty awesome feature for enhanced fluid motion. Also, I am not sure if it is a 10-bit or 8-bit panel (you want 10-bit), but it does utilise the full colour spectrum (1-255), which means that if you have equipment that can take advantage of it (like the PS3 with the full RGB feature) you will get more vibrant colours and blacker blacks.

I'd say go for it... I've never been happier than I am now with my W series Bravia, and if this has a 10-bit panel then you should be content. Even more so if you can do 100Hz.
