Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with Dell at the moment.
I ordered a laptop from them a few days ago as I'm heading off to university soon, did everything from their online ordering system, got my internet receipt and all seemed fine. However, I got this email a couple days later from someone at dell Dear Customer, Your Dell order Is on Hold due to a Credit card transaction declined This problem is usually caused by one of the following: Card details are registered to a different name than the billing name given on the order Card details are registered to a different address than the billing address given on the order Incorrect card details given on the order – Card number, Expiry date, CSC code/number etc Please check these details with the credit card issuer – and once the issue has been solved - please reply to my E-mail so i Can process your Order with Credit Card or change the method of payment to Wire transfer. Thanks Mohamed SADIQ Dell - SMB Order Management-Casablanca. Phone 0844-444-3161 UK 850-628-772 IE 180-544-8160 GER 0848 33 88 34 SWI I have ordered using my Maestro Debt card and I'm quite sure I entered all the details correct. However, I may not have done. I have called my bank to confirm there is no problems with my account and they say everythings fine and there has been no transaction even attempted by Dell. I called them both on the number provided in the email and from a support number on their website but was on hold for over an hour both times (at 5p per min!!!!) without any answer.... FROM A SALES LINE!!! Do they not want to sell things! So I sent an email back to the guy saying that everything seems fine my end and that I may have inputted the details incorrectly, said that I had been on hold for over 2 hours in total with no success and left my mobile number asking them to contact me. I did that yesterday morning and still have had no response/acknowledgement email. Does anyone know of any other numbers for Dell that has someone on the end of them? (Preferably freephone) |
