Default keep losing weight (not wanted)
The last couple of months I've been losing weight and the thing is, I don't want to (actually want to gain weight). I eat like crazy and I work out just as much as I normally do. Only thing different is that my stomach seems to be acting weird now and then. I take protein shakes and even creatin (which is supposed to make you heavier). I've taken protein and creatin since about 3 years now, so that can't really be it.

I've lost more than 5 kg in the last 3 months, which is like 10-15 pounds. What could cause this problem? I was thinking I could be lactose intolerant, but why would that start now?

brew your own beer or go to a microbrewery! Those specialty beers are high in calories!
Dogfish heads 120min IPA is 600 or so calories per bottle I think... I think the Fort is the same too.
Heck I'm sure my own ale is high too but not past 400ish. It's only 8.4% alc content... Good amount of hops and 1.5L of honey.

I know you're ruling out the protein but it will definately be a factor. Maybe you're underestimating your starting fat content as I did:- for every 10 Pounds of Fat lost you gain about 2 Pounds of muscle so you'll most likely hit the sweet spot where by all increases are mostly muscle.

You'll either have to a.) be happy with the bruce Lee look or b.) increase your carb intake with a weight gainer formula.

I'm not an expert so don't take my word as bond but I'm experiencing/have experienced similar issues.

Can I just ask a question as somebody who doesn't understand this stuff..
Why are you taking these protein and creatin compounds ?
and how long has this been ?
is the purpose of that to make you heavier ?

I honestly don't know, I am in no way being shitty, I am genuinely interested.
I wonder what you eat that isn't making you gain weight I suppose.
I guess I would love to know the secret in that

excuse me I was asking the wrong there when I asked the question how long has it been
of course you gave the answer to that, I meant how long has it been since you noticed this difference ?

The solution is simple.

2 dbl cheeseburgers, supersize fry, and a supersize soda with 1 refill.

Eat that for lunch and dinner, with donuts for breakfast.

Guaranteed to help you stop losing weight.

I would go to the doctor, seriously. You could have intestinal worms, you could have gained an intolerance, you could have IBS, you could have all kinds of things wrong.

Has there been a change in stress or physical activity? Either way, see a doc, what you are describing could be pointing to something wrong.

Except you would probably drop dead from all the sugar and salt in that diet. [surrender]

Yeah I've been thinking about this stuff.. Lots of my friends have been telling me I got something wrong, because right after I eat something I can go to the bathroom. It's getting less extreme, but I still have problems... Guess I should indeed visit the doctor..

thx to all the people who answered seriously.. maybe I should try a weight gainer again, but I hesitant to those things

ooh and Aston.. The reason people use protein and creatin is because if you go weight lifting and want to increase muscle mass or just get into a better shape most of the time normal protein intake through regular food isn't enough.. 2gr of protein per kg is recommended.

Not Always, But I would definetly get an alergy test pack and go to the doctors, its not as bad as it sounds but you need to know what your dealing with.

I was always skinny but it got worse a few years ago, after going to the doctors it seems I had a wheat allergy. This had been making me thin all my life and I only started to feel it a few years ago when it got worse.

I have always excersized but when I stopped eating bread I went from 9 1/2 stone to 12 1/2 stone and 90% of that increase was muscle.

your body can develope allergys, IBS or ulcers at any point in life and symptoms can range from nothing, to cripling pain, going to the toilet too much or not enough.
