Just watched the movie again, on DVD. I still love it and still think it's one of the most awesome movies I've ever seen. I know a lot of people, critics especially, don't agree but they can just go watch their own favorite movies, I'm cool with that.

its an ok movie yes but the book blows it out of the water. it doesnt even compare to the book. you should pick it up its only 177 pages or so. so pick it up!

I had a few friends over the other night to watch it on Blu-ray with Dolby TrueHD and they absolutely loved it. Skip Lievsay is one of my favorite sound re-recording mixers/supervising sound editors around and hearing a lossless representation of his work is quite the treat. |

Didn't like it, slightly wary of anything starring Will Smith (how many times can he save the ******* world?) but chuck in Jumanji-quality CGI animals, unimaginative, unconvincing and unscary digital baddies, simultaneous overacting and underacting, that dog, those mannequin scenes...blah blah blah.
I honestly enjoyed Hancock more and that's saying something. |

That you have horrendous taste in films? Hancock was a preachy yet a dumbed down hero flick wannabe comedy that got lost in the woods and forgot what genre it belonged in and managed to fail at achieving any. |
