Default Anyone going to Farnborough Airshow?
Hey guys,

Just got my tickets in the post and hotel booked... travelling down to london on Saturday morning to check-in then spend the day in London centre / Heathrow, staying overnight and then going to the displays on Sunday.

CANT WAIT, this is my first time visiting Farnborough, and will be the first time i see the Airbus A380 in the flesh... [thumbup]

Anyone else got any plans? [thumbup]

How much did I used to enjoy Farnborough, I used to buy aircraft spares for an aircraft maintenence company servicing Ryan air, Virgin, Easyjet, BA etc so used to get loads of tickets, left there now so no more tickets , I've been loads of times and loved every time, I used to go in the week so it wasn't to busy and as it was a business trip I used to come away with loads of freebies.

Now I gotta try and get my missus to get me some tickets if she can, it's been 5 or six years since my last trip there.

You'll enjoy it if you're into aviation definately.

Yeah, im a massive aviation buff, planning on sorting my PPL at some point in my life (spose I should learn to drive first)... I usually always visit Sunderland Airshow whenever its on, but always wanted to visit Farnborough since the day I knew it existed.

Cant wait! Like I said, just looking forward to seeing the A380 in the flesh! [thumbup]

Last time I went it was the first showing of the Euro Fighter, loads of bigwigs shaking hands and kissing ass, also one of my favourites and they had a walkway into it was the Beluga
