Not that it makes it OK or anything but you guys do realize this was a MENTAL hospital right? There are probably "mental" reasons why the other people waiting didn't respond.

Perhaps, but its been happening all over the world every single day. People being left to die and other people who are full capable of helping them just ignore everything and go on with their lives like they seen a helpless animal.

After reading this story, most people are probably better off staying home. If going to the hospital means to wait over 24 hours and then die without anyone caring then I'd rather die in my own home. I cannot imagine how helpless someone must feel in that situation

But you can almost guarantee that that security guard would've noticed if a patient came in wielding a gun demanding medial attention, which I am surprised nobody has done as a results of such a poor hospital system.
