Three were Americans and Ingrid Betancourt. This should make many French happy. I can only imagine the undercover, covert, special forces type action that was going on to make this happen.

The article doesn't list to many details yet, but I'm sure we'll find out more soon. The FARC are going to be pretty pissed off now... unless most of them are dead.

Also, the article has been edited a bit since I just read it a few minutes ago. Now it doesn't say the US rescued them and that it was Colombians undercover. Who knows... can't get any straight answers from the media anymore.

I am pretty sure that the people responsible for this rescue were Columbian agents undercover within FARC. At least that is what I read. Still, great news. [thumbup]
