I have a Macbook and would like to email some pics but they need to be reduced in size. What program is best suited for this task? I have a new Mac OS X 10.5.3. Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz

Are you looking to batch resize? The basic Preview application that came with OS X can resize the images to whatever resolution you like, as well as batch if you open them all up in the app simultaneously.

Also if you attach images to an email using the Mail program you can select how big to send them.
