Default Things to do at work while boss isn't watching?
At times I have nothing to do for 4-5 hours at work (I get my projects done way too fast to what is expected) and my bosses rarely check on me. I have no idea how to entertain myself with something that won't get me in trouble if someone does check on me.

Ideas?

I believe going to sites that are not related to my work would result in a serious conversation with my boss if he notices.

I'm compiling a pharma database so it has to be somehow related.

So you want something to do while bored...but it has to related to pharmaceutical databases? I don't think I've seen any flash games based on that theme... [rofl] Just ask for more work, or sit quietly. I, on the other hand, will watch Nickelodeon and maybe take a nap [thumbup] My job rocks.

Obviously you need to learn something new about databases. Start researching.

Now it is [rolleyes].

Brat, aren't there any online sites that will tech you some additional chemistry ?
Alternatively, as suggested previously, can't you find some sites to show you those little known shortcuts and utilities relating to the database you're using?

His secretary.
Hahaha! [rofl] So great! Ya, follow his idea!

Anyway, well if you get paid for more-skill-give-you-more it's just got isn't it or if it's paid-per-hour then get new job..

Also, go to sites where you know he won't be angry at haha for example same stuff you both like (a special hobby etc..)
