I'm looking at buying a new monitor and am unsure where to buy it from. I've used Dabs quite a lot in the past and never had a problem with them, even when I had to return an HDD that wasn't suitable. However I'm aware some people have had problems with them.
Another option is to buy it from Laskys, whom I'd never heard of until they came up on a price comparison website. They seem to be highly rated, but I don't like the fact that they insist you open the box and check the product on delivery as I don't think the courier would want to wait around while I do that. Apart from that there's Dixons or Comet, but they don't rate highly either. ![]() |

Well, I could be wrong, but I'm sure I've seen people complain about them on here. And they don't seem to be very highly rated in the reviews at Kelkoo. It seems a lot of people have had issues with them. I've ordered about twice from Dabs, delivery was "normal" that is to say packaging was decent and delivery was on time - which is what I expect of any etailer I order from. Not dealt with customer service though which is apparently their failing on several occasions. Ebuyer however, superb delivery times, decent packaging, and RMAed two faulty items recently, went very fast and smooth, both times they picked up the item (mobo and gfx, so rather large/heavy). Enotes can very in speed from slow (2days) and ultra quick (few minutes), anything urgent their phone line should be used. Scan I'm quite split, prices are very good, their ordering and shipping service is quite slow, 2 out of 3 orders have been delayed, I have free delivery with them, but its just annoying IMO. Customer service looks alright but again looks like they are slow and often needs nudging by posting in their forums. |
