Default Comcast users - are you getting all of your emails?
So, I am not sure what the deal is, but I am fairly sure that Comcast is losing alot of my emails.

On Friday, I ordered something online; supposedly, they sent me an email that day wanting to confirm something. Of course, I never got that, so my stuff has been delayed until today when I called.

This makes me wonder about other emails - I have been having problems with an eBay user, whom I thought never got back to me; now I am wondering if his emails were sent, and just never arrived.

Is anyone else having this problem? I know it is hard to know about things you never received, but its worth asking. And before anyone asks - I don't have any junk mail filters or anti-virus that would be blocking my mail..

This wouldn't be something new for Comcast. It's happened plenty in the past. They've already deleted thousands of users emails and accounts a couple times in the past year. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if some of their bandwidth throttling and monitoring software is somehow affecting email. You would probably be better off to sign up for and use a gmail account.

you dont have any anti spam but maybe your isp does? can you login to your comcast account on there website and check there settings or something?

on my uk cable isp i can select multiple different spam filter settings and virus scan settings that happen on there mail server for my account.

anyway gmail is good there servers are always fast at recieving mail and nothing ever gets lost
