I used this one for a family build over the holidays. It's got silicon mounts for the HDD and the 120mm rear fan is tri-speed switchable. With the fan on low, and using a 4-pin CPU fan (BIOS controlled), the thing is damn near silent unless you put your ear up to it. Stays nice and cool too. It's only running an E2180 (stock) and onboard graphics (nv7050) though.
It's quite small too for an M-ATX tower. It's actually 2-3 inches shallower than most M-ATX cases. You do have to be careful which CD/DVD drive you buy as longer ones may not clear the power supply. |

I use the Antec NSK1380, its a great small case.
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/2307/dsc01745gu3.jpg Its uses a single 120mm fan to cool the PSU (custom type) and the case, also comes with a low speed blower that takes up a PCI slot. Its silent, so you need to worry more about the noise your CPU cooler is going to emit. Though this case is wider than most, so id only recommend it if you need something thats shorter than a 2 bay mATX tower. The towers have the advantage of fitting a normal ATX PSU so you dont have to worry about replacing it. The tower cases are also easier to work with. Other recommendations are the coolermaster elite 340, the Gigabyte GZ-M1 and the Lian Li A05 (This is a big case, but its worth looking at). |
