Yeah I've been wanting to get a telescope too... I think if you just want to look at the moon and other near objects then a refractor telescope would be best, for clarity and contrast.
If you want to look at other planets too then a reflector would give you the most magnification. Meade makes good telescopes, and when choosing one, just go for the biggest aperture you can afford. |
