i live in the US and i do not know anyone that does not know the definition of revoked.
Could it be they were afraid people might not know what license they were referring to being revoked? I mean, still pretty sad, but I can't see how people couldn't understand the work "revoked".

Or, maybe they just said that because they didn't want to admit they actually changed the title because it sounded tacky.

lol "license to kill" sounds better to me, whereas license revoked seems like it involves the DMV

Yeah, License Revoked sounds very stupid. License to Kill sounds much better.

As far as American's not knowing what it mean, get real. Thats as far fetched of a myth as I've ever heard of. You could probably find a few people who don't know. But those same people probably married their mother or father. You can find those types of people in every country though, there is always a small percentage of true idiots.

idiots doesn't quite go far enough. they're just blissfully ignorant of facts, knowledge, intellect, and the world around them. Basically they are mentally lacking that which makes us human.
