I'm not sure if anyone's heard of the Microsoft Imagine Cup for students, long story short its a competition where students can put various ideas forward in the hope of winning the content. If you're interested its worth worth a look, I know a lot of industry experts keep an eye on the ideas students produce.

At the moment they are also running a signup competition where you can with various prizes (the top of which is a x360 elite), I've been asked to help get the ball rolling and get people signing up. If you fancy doing me a favor (click the, "don't send me any god dammed spam" button :P)
