Default IPOD Touch Question...
I just wanted to know if its worth getting one of these, my main concern is the fact that apple have a lovely habit of releasing newer version of their Ipods very quickly, FAR too quickly in fact, i would like to know how long this version will be out before apple releases a thinner, faster and probably cheaper version...? yeah i will use it for music and the occasional video, some games and such!

I either want one of those or a PS3, the PS3 should last longer because havnt sony said it will be a 9 year product that they will support or something?

anyone?

Don't expect a new one until at least June/July and even then it will probably just be a memory increase.

But considering the next Mac expo is in early Jan, you might want to wait just incase Apple does upgrade it (although this is very unlikely).

I'm pretty certain it is. On the iphone it's a matte aluminum but I belivee it's shiny on the touch. Look at some review pictures.

I have an iPod touch and freaking love it. I am actually replying to you on it now. The k/b is pretty easy to use. It does have the shiny back... But don't let that atopmyou from getting it just do what I did hard plastic case and cut out a piece of cloth and lay it in the inside where the shiny part would touch the plastic. Works like a charm. The best way to get the most out of your touch is to jailbreak it but I won't go into details. Google it. They are great to have[thumbup]
