No worries. [thumbup]

Okay at the risk of the OP pulling his hair out... back on topic: Any news as to when the site will be done?
I think it's late '08 or early '09. It's not only "Restless Planet" though, it's three towers, a mall, and Restless Planet and I know some other things should be finished around that same time, one being a full amusement park I believe.

I kind of like the idea of it being under a giant dome in the middle of the city, or at least part of it being under a dome and then the rest outside, it just doesn't bother me that it's in the city. That's the cool part, one minute you're in the city and the next your in a cool Jurassic Park themed jungle. Universal Studio's is kind of like that. Universal is in the middle of the city (kind of) but since it's up on a hill you feel like you're "driving off the city streets into the movies" or something. It's a crazy feeling when you're leaving the park and just outside of the parking garage is Lankershim Blvd or Cahuenga Blvd, hell not to mention the 101!

Burj Dubai will be the tallest freestanding structure in the world. Now I know why fuel prices are so high, it's all going towards this stuff in Dubai. I wonder if it will be anti-Jetliner like the WTC was proclaimed to be as late as Jan 2001?

What I would like though is the Hawaiian Island of Kau'ai to be transformed into Isla Nublar. Perimeter fences, Tyrannasaur Paddock, and Velociraptor cages. Lets make Jurassic Park a reality and stop wondering if we can, because I know we can.

I think it already is the tallest as it passed the CN tower back in September

The CN tower has had an impressive innings at the top. But then I guess everyone bows out sooner or later. Technically the TV mast in North Dakota will still be taller, but seeing as nobody can actually go up there I am pretty sure it is exempt from the list.

So what is the current world's tallest actual building (with floors, and not just a tower?)... Sears? Or the Tapei Tower (101?) caus I'm pretty sure the towers in Malaysia came close.

Honestly I think if R&D money was dumped into it and the green light for "clone whatever you want, we won't judge" was given to them, we probably could have it starting up in five to ten years and maybe the park complete in three years or something. It would be amazing; so freaking amazing. Even if it was $10,000 for a weekend or something I would save every penny from the day it was announced to go there. The tropical jungle is a huge plus, being in a tropical jungle with modern stuff and sat phones and nice state of the art facilities is a HUGE plus, having what would surely be the best natural history museum on Earth would be worth at least one trip in your life time and then on top of that to have all the perimeter fences and dinos with guided tours, freaking insane over the top sell my soul type of thing!

I hope I see this in my life time, even if they can't do full size T-Rex type stuff just having a few dino's and then the whole park done up in Jurassic Park style (even if it's rebranded, though I don't care how much they would want to license, if you're a private business building this park you pay what is needed to brand it JP style!) and being on a tropical island would be so cool!
