The first quote is from a professor of mine, and the second part to it is of course mine. He works for a major defense contractor on a part-time basis as an EE, but he also does quite a bit of mechanical work too, usually with foams and adhesives. [thumbup]
Quote two is Greek and is translated to mean "come and take them" as a bit of a dare for all of the gun grabbers out there.
Last, this quote is just my thinking on the matter of vegetarianism. Hey, if the demand for good quality steaks or other meat goes down...[yes]

My avatar just shows my feelings on the BS that a lot of people post on the internet.

Mine's sort of about Tool, especially 46 and 2, where the quote comes from. The idea is supposed to be Maynard James Keenan giving a nod to all the folk who inspired him/Tool who've passed away, Bill Hicks, I don't think I need to explain the link there, Terence McKenna - for his ideas on evolution and novelty theory, Nietzsche - for the concept of the Superman (again evolution of man) and lastly Carl Jung for the theory of the Anima/Animus as well as the concept of the Shadow as in that quote. Oh yeah and the two symbols are the Sephiroth Tree and another mystical diagram.

The reasonings behind my avatar is a highly guarded secret. Improved over time by Evil Weazel to include the winking. My sig is a simply copy/paste of a red panda taking a rest, from the zoo in Ueno, Tokyo.

Avatar: Lobo, easily the most bada$$ comic "hero" of my time. His wanton violence, demented humor, and kick-assery ability has always been favorite traits of mine.

Signature: Ganked from the Halo Graphic Novel. I thought the picture was awesome, and then I coupled it with Halo 3's semi-tagline. I had created a series of Halo 3 images with the quote in them, but this one has been the longest lasting.

Avatar - Batman. Taken from the comic series "The Long Halloween", its just a picture of him looking all badass and stuff because....he's Batman. Its what he does.

Signature - A Dead Rising theme with a Xmas feel about it, since there are but 27 days until the big day hits. And surely a photographer beating to death thousands of zombies with his bare hands is what Christmas is all about.

No wait, the dead rising from the grave is Easter isn't it? Damn, my bad.

The avatar is a representation of the logo used for Richter 10, a Quake 3 clan I used to be the leader of.
The idea is one of a force so powerful, it could split the earth.
I still use it to represent myself and my close circle of online friends.

The sig rotates whenever I feel like it, but its usually a Halo reference. Right now its just my name written fancy with some lines.

EDIT: The dedication to Phil shouldn't need explaining.

as for the avatar... I just really enjoyed Call of Juarez. Not the best game ever, but a genre and a kind of game that I never played before and it just worked for me. It has been one of my favorite gaming experiences on the 360.

It also reminds me of William Munny from one of my my favorite films Unforgiven.
