does anyone know why a computer would print colors a lot darker and fuzzier then they appear on the screen? however from a different computer on the network the colors are sharper and cleaner?
i just got off the phone with hp (for 2 and a half hours) and we couldnt figure anything out. however im starting to think it is the computer (a dell) that is causing the problem instead of the printer (the hp). its giving me such a headache i just want to figure it out. ![]() thanks in advance. EDIT: also to add, the printer worked fine on that computer for over a year, until recently it started to do this. nothing to my knowledge or my fathers (whose printer it is) has been changed. he is a real stickler to keep things the way they are and not messing with stuff. we also replaced the ink to figure out that was not the problem. we printed stuff directly from the printer and it was okay, and this is why it seems to be on the computer side of things. EDIT 2:i tried a different printer and printed out the page that has the text and logo and the logo wasnt even apparent. this was with an inkjet printer. so it is NOT the printer. is there any way that the bitmap of the logo could have become corrupt? EDIT 3: i tried printing out different colors and the only one that was messed up was gray. all shades of gray came out greenish. this was from my dads pc and my networked pc. every other color came out just fine, no problems. ________ Honda B20A engine |
