Default Grammer Police
A bugbear of mine... something that I'm seeing more and more of, and not just here but at other forums as well, or in any written medium for that matter.

"Could of", "would of", etc. It's Could have, would have. Or, if abbreviated, "could've", "would've".

Lol, 'Grammer', way to start a thread about Grammar...

But yes, I'm a bit of a stickler for it also, and it's nice to have good punctuation too...

Although the primary skill of language is making sure that you are perfectly understood to the other parties, and depending on the crowd, even 1337 speak can do just the same job.

Is English his first language? I can accept it when English isn't your first language. I just saw it on another forum, "may of".

Also there's no such word as "alot" or "allot". It's A LOT.

Sorry , I know what you mean, but I had just to.

Allot:
  • to divide or distribute by share or portion; distribute or parcel out; apportion: to allot the available farmland among the settlers.
  • to appropriate for a special purpose: to allot money for a park.
  • to assign as a portion; set apart; dedicate.
