Default Would you marry an older woman?
4 years older

I just met this AMAZING girl, I almost fell for her from the 1st minutes, 15 minutes chatting with each other and I felt that this is the person I am looking for, and I felt the same thing from her side too.

Funny, open minded, attractive...she is my 2nd half

I am 26 and she is 30

I have some family objection because of that, ( yes my family..ugh...but well...if I want to marry her I will no matter what )

What do you think?

Why the hell not? My GF is 7 years older than me and we're engaged [thumbup]

Give it some time man, and the rest will fall into place. Age doesn't matter, honestly the only qualities that count are what you want and need in a partner. If that special someone can fill your expectations and you're in love, age is the last thing that you should be worried about

Women live longer anyway, however gravity defeats them sooner as well.

Honestly, four years is next to no time at all age-wise. I think you're being a little presumptive in talking about marriage after just meeting this person.[shocked]

My wife is almost 5 years older than I am. We got married when I was 21 and have been married for 7 years. I don't see why your family should have a problem with it.

Is that because I met many girls, she is the 1st that went straight to my heart for some reason in a few seconds

May be it is too fast, but well there will definitly be engagement 1st

My wife's got 5 years on me, and my mum has 5 years on my dad. No problem with it, especially when you're both over 20.

I know this is going to be considered "medling"(sp), I'd say get to know each other for a while, 6-7months, at least. Then try the living together thing. Nothing makes or breaks a relationship better than living together. You never truly know a person until then.

4 years? That's nothing. I say dump her and find someone old enough to be your mom.

Or grandmother if you really want to go the extra mile

Corpses are too far though

Heh, there's 14 years between my new "friend" and I. She's 29 and I'm 15, nah, just kidding, I'm 43.

I'd politely tell your family to **** off and mind their own business, that you are 26 years old now and you'll decide what you do with your life. I'm 6 years old than my wife and she was just 18 when we first starting going out and we've been together for almost 7 years now. So what does family know?

As long as it is legal, 4 years is nothing.
