Well, all done and sorted, had it removed at 11.00 am yesterday and was home by 8.00 pm, I feel like a heard of elephants has done the funky chicken on my belly and am still a bit groggy from the anesthetic but it's good to be home.

For anyone who want's to know, I had some very small stones but was told the bladder was very badly diseased and filled with sludge (nice thought)

on a plus note I've had really bad back pains for about a year and was having physio and sports massage as it was supposed to be a trapped nerve or torn muscle but the pian is gone and I used to suffer from maddeningly itchy hands and feet, tried all creams and antihistamines but none really worked but thats gone to (touch wood). checking online and a diseased gallblader can cause any number of symptoms including severe back pain so here's hoping it don't come back.

Cheers all and good luck to your Dad Alecto, ops pretty much a piece of cake so the surgeon said[thumbup] most painful part is the belly button, thats where they pull it out of.
