Completely off topic I know but why does your 'Posts' count never go over 2?
Posts made in the "Blah Blah" sections don't count toward ones post count.

I had just woken up after working night shift. I flipped on the tv and was calling my son to wish him happy birthday. I was the only one in the family that wished it to him most of the day, everyone else got sidetracked. I saw the second plane hit while I was on the phone.

They do so. Don't they? I thought they counted towards the post count but not your rank or whatever that thing under your user name is. I guess you are right though

I was in a study hall, teach ran over to the TV and turned on the news. Then the school banned TV in the school the rest of the day. Kids went home I stayed till the end of the day. Went home and watched the news all night.

Default What were you doing 6 years ago on this day, Sept 11th?
6yrs ago I had just signed the title over on my 89 TransAm GTA. I was on a high, feeling great. I had the T-tops out, jamming to some of my favorite tunes.

I pulled up to a stop light and started looking around at some drivers. Then I noticed almost every single one of them had a sad face, couldn't figure out why until I turned the radio on.

I was at work for a part of the day. Heard the "news" your referring to on BBC Radio 1. Thought it was a Chris Moyles joke at first.

Driving to a maths lesson on the Tuesday slot I had, heard something about a plane flying into the WTC on the radio and had a mental image of a cesna or something, but as we all know it was a little worse than that

I was home, watching tv when I saw the breaking news about the 1st plane. I thought to myself it was some sort of accident ,the pilot having a heart attack or something... I was soon proven wrong. Can't believe how fast 6 years have gone by...

I was at work when some work mates from an other department stormed ours Service and Maintenance asking if we had a TV set somewhere. In fact I did have a working TV set in the pile of junk, I rigged it up, made an antenna for it and off we went to watch what happened.

Yep, I didn't do it.

I was at home, just about to start watching Stand By Me. I was fast forwarding through the adverts when I saw footage of the smoking WTC. I'd read on telextext about 20 minutes previous that a plane had hit the WTC, but the details were vague, and I assumed it was a little 2 man plane that had gone off course. However then the footage of what really happened started rolling. Needless to say, I didn't get around to watching Stand By Me that day.

I was in the 7th grade, US history class. Our substitute had CNN on, and we all watched as smoke billowed out of the towers, none of it really sinking in. No other teachers that day knew, or seemed to care what had happened (although every room had a TV). No announcements were made, and class went on as usual preparing for the all important "TAKS" test. It wasn't until I arrived home that I realized just how horrific the attacks were.

I was watching TV, then saw the breaking news, called my dad who was on a trip with his colleagues, told him someone crashed into the NYSE building (didn't know what WTC was) and then while talking to him I saw the second plane crash.

[no]

I was in Spanish class at the time. We didn't know what was going on until another student came in and told the class. After we heard, some of the class went to watch footage and everyone else just kind of sat around talking. Of course at the time no one knew how grave and dangerous the situation was.

I was looking at this yesterday,
