Nice car. Yeah, it's nice to have an auto for daily driving and a zippy fun manual to drive for cruising. That's what I eventually want to do. Scions don't exist in Canada. I did definitely look at Scions though. |

They are very nice looking cars, albeit a little bland without alloys. I saw the exact model on YouTube with a Type R engine in, basically a sleeper. Interesting idea, but for me I like to have a pretty car (alloys, tinted glass etc) and a bit of performance over a basic looking car.
I am also a stickler for Audis but I do admit Hondas have always interested me! Amazing how much you Canadians + Americans (some) care so much about fuel efficiency. Its stupidly cheap for fuel over there... and almost regardless of size you don't have such hefty tax on gas guzzlers. I say while there are still petrol cars available make the most of it... I intend to get something potent when I have the need for a car after Uni ![]() |

Oh, also, I am sure that people in the UK don't drive as much as the average person here in America. From May to May I drove 20,000 miles. That was mostly to work, school, and around town. Maybe 1,500 miles of that was for vacations. Thats roughly $2,500 for the year getting 23mpg average. For someone in the UK, and most of Europe I am going to take this number down to 10,000 miles. At $6.30/gal average for the year getting 30mpg (which I am sure is much more for most people) turns out to be $400 cheaper for this person to putt around then me. Then you can only find a Diesel in trucks and other then that there are currently only 3 other models in the US that offer Diesel and it has been like this for some time. Though, it seems like Jeep might tap into the Diesel market here. They tested a Liberty to see how it sold with a diesel and it did better then what they thought. Diesel isn't big around here because people think that they are loud, dirty, poor economy, no power, and expensive, but that isn't so the case. |

Good choice! Civics are comfy and the EX models are great daily drivers! I like manual more and I do agree in traffic ( I live in DC) auto is less frustrating but when the traffic clears... my manual puts a big smile on my face. I had a 97 Civic Coupe EX and it was very comfortable for daily commute and even taking some friends along. I love my my new MS3 but its not as comfy as my old civic....and not as weak! >

Looks very nice man. One of my neighbors has one, and they are quite nice. As for someone sayin something about the tC, yuck, only women drive them here. Do the Civics have a governor on them? (speed)
The only thing I dont like about them is the instrument cluster. I dont like having the revs and the speedo in 2 different places. I have a 03 Accord ex, and It has a HUGE speedo...which is nice...when your on the interstate and need to 'monitor' your speed. ![]() |
