Default A Bit of Fry & Laurie
I haven't watched the show in quite some time (since like '98 or something), but I'm starting to watch some episodes again on TV Links. I always remembered it being funny, but this show is just fantastic. Now although The Black Adder is great, I've always liked this show better.

What's you're take on these shows or other shows like it? Doesn't have to be American or British comedy. In fact, I hate using those terms because to me comedy is comedy, but that's a different story.

Also, when watching a comedy show, do you prefer there to be an audience or not? I enjoy watching both ways, and both have their advantages. For instance, with an audience laughter is contagious so you can enjoy things more without putting extra thought into it. Without an audience, humorous actions and sayings can have more of an impact and thus be even funnier.

I also loved the songs Hugh Laurie would do in the show. Like "America". That's just classic. Not only is it hilarious, but it's very true at the same time. Think of John Cougar Mellencamp for example...
