I didnt care then, i dont care now.

Yes she did some good and raised awareness of things but thousands of other people do similar things all the time and you never hear about them on the same scale.

The only reason she seems to be so famous is because shes a member of the royal family that actually got off their arse.

"Why do you see the speck that is in your [sister]’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?"

I can't believe you are ripping on a dead woman who did more for other people in one day than you'll probably ever do in your entire life. Disgusting and absolutely despicable. [thumbdown]
why should we maintain false reverence for a woman who has been exposed as a charlaton?

Default Diana - Ten years on
Does anyone find the media attention on the tenth anniversary of Diana's death a little over the top? I think the "grief" people showed ten years ago was a little hard to stomach, and it seems people still have trouble moving on. It's astounding how much coverage she still gets, particularly if you think about the Daily Express and its readership's strange obsession with her.

Will the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa get as much media attention next week?

have to agree, yes she did a lot of good and ok i can kind of understand people reactions back then even if i thought they were over the top

but it was 10 years ago, breakfast tv annoyed me this morning with pretty much non stop coverage on the subject

Mother Theresa was one cold hearted bitch.

I hate all the media attention which is diverted towards her with all the public adulation and sainthood.

Read and watch here.

Now we also know that she didn't really believe and she was just used by the church as PR.

I too doubt she was perfect (Some nuns are evil! My granny told me that at a young age), but I'd venture to guess she did more real good than Diana ever did.

I agree... get over it. MOVE ON.

Honestly...

It's fine to remember her. But making a whole memorial event? It's way over the top.
