I have personally had 1 experience. This was shortly after my dad died though, so who knows whether it was a state of my mind at the time or what - but it will be in my memories for the rest of my life.
Alot of unexplainable things may occur when a loved one has just passed away or being burried ( cremated or anything) that the deceased person in a way wants to let the family, loved ones left behind, to know things are ok.

Sometimes clocks stop ticking without any reason.. or a rainbow appears without really having clouds/rain and sun to produce one... etc.. I believe it has to do with the final transition to a next world.

I don't know if there are lost souls wandering around among us.. maybe they do, but I never encounterd one.

absolutely dont.

That most haunted series (i mean come on detecting emf with a gauss meter in a house and then labelling it as haunted, Thats an electric field from the electrical wiring encompassing the house you morons!!! let alone the earths own electromagneticfield which can be detected in strength in a lot of places in the middle of nowhere [cursing] and i think i recall some absolute gobshite saying that his compass behaved erraticed in his house or around it, so apparently it must have been haunted so he had it "cleansed" what the hell does that even mean) and the others where a "medium" lets familly members get in touch with loved ones they have lost absolutely infuriates me.

I do believe in ghosts, but not in the sense that they're disgruntled murder soles and all that usual spooky crap that's always associated with them. There is so much in this world that we simply cannot explain. I think a lot of the time, it's humans imaginations running wild with most reported sightings / events (ala camera orbs, cough dust).

I don't think I'll ever see a headless figure for instance, but I do believe other "life" is probable it's just currently outside of our comprehension.

Same for aliens, I don't believe they come down and experiment on us, or have crash landed, but that's not to say in some distant planet a alien is playing counter strike.

Edit -

The only real time I can think of where I was truely spooked out is late one night watching TV (when I lived with my parents) I could hear a strange noise (almost like in my head) and felt all strange/ill (rapidly), at the same time my cat (which was fast asleep, didn't move much) jumped up and ran out the room. I got up to let her into her room and felt fine again. It was very out of character for the cat, and me. Who know eh?

I'm either way on the subject, I like to look at things as...We have no idea whether they exist or not. I think "man" gives himself to much credit for "knowing" things. There's so much to this world and universe that is unexplained. Just because we cannot explain it does not mean it does not exist or there is not an alternative explanation.

EVP's for example, I've taken one before. I use to think on shows like Ghost Hunters it was BS, until I recorded one. How do you explain that. There was no one in the house buy myself, nothing was on AT ALL, I press record left it in the guest room play back "Now why'd he do that" in a really thick country accent. That was about 7 years ago and I do not have the tape anymore so I'm sure everything will think I'm lying. But whatever. In any case does that mean it was a ghost, of course not, I have no idea what said that. For all we know there could be an alternate universe and some sound waves stream line with a certain frequency or some crazy **** like that... doesn't mean it never happened.

There is a house in Savannah, across the street from the house there use to be a big house there that burned down in some crazy fire killing a lot of people or something like that, if you take a picture of the house across the street sometimes you can see flames in the reflection of the windows. My sister has a picture where you can see the the flames... Yeah it could be that they put something behind the windows that make it do that (although not everyone picks it up), but I like to think everything that is unexplained isn't someone trying to make money.

I just like to think anything is possible, just because it's out of the realms of our understanding does not mean it's impossible.

Why ? Poltergeist activity is a rather "known" phenomena,..
Hm well i've never seen it myself, have you?
All i get to see are these stories on TV where they say something has happened and then they make this nice reconstruction out of it.

My sisters and I where in the kitchen one day. We have 3 TV/Dinner trays on top of the fridge. One flew off (I say flew, 'cause it can't slide off, they were all flat on a flat top fridge) and almost hit my sister in the head. I guess that counts. I don't think it was a ghost though, something else. Maybe unconsciously tapping into some telekinesis

Yes I do.

I've seen several over the last 25 years or so.

See the Ghost of a Poacher who died in the early 1930's, near to where I used to live in Harlech.

Seen the Ghost of a woman who hanged herself from the oak rafters in her Kitchen in this old house in Harlech.

Seen my Grandfather, who had died the week before, My family and I had come to stay with my Grandma for the Funeral, and I awoke in the middle of the night, to find my Grandfather smiling at me from the foot of my bed, I reached over to the bedside table to turn the light on but he'd gone.
I knew it was him though, cos (and don't laugh), His pet Budgie, Billy was sitting square in the middle of his flat cap.

I've seen my old dog, Taran, He had died a few days earlier, I guess he wanted to come and "say" goodbye, Because I was'nt there when he passed away, I'd had him since the day my mother brought him home in a shoebox, he was nearly 11 years old when he died of cancer.

I've also seen other things I cannot logically explain.

My missus watches "Most Haunted" too, but to be honest, the stuff they get up too in that programme seems like total BS at times.

I just cannot explain what I've seen though, if you don't believe in ghosts though, thats upto you, but Like someone said there is SO many unexplained things in this world and in the Universe that dismissing ghosts and such stuff as nonsense just seems very closed minded to me.

Mixed opinions.

My fiancee got me interested into the show "Ghost Hunters" on sci-fi. I must admit.. some of the stuff I've seen has me wondering. Usually they find logical reasons as to why its not anything spiritual and its simply a natural occurence.. but they've had episodes with weird crap that they just can't explain.

I've also had personal experience that I would classify as possibly supernatural. I would like to believe that I was just delusional or something, and believe that everything has a "normal" explanation but I can't be too sure. I haven't seen enough good solid evidence to prove to me the existance of ghosts, but I've seen enough that I can't say "nope they don't exist".

I've seen them do that, but one time the results they got were definitely a little odd. So unless it was a setup it definitely leaves me somewhat wondering. They made a request that if any spirits were present if they could lower the temperature of the room in one specific spot. Sure enough they managed to get that specific spot dropped down by like 10 degrees while the surrounding area didn't change. As soon as they said they were satisfied with the exact temperature drop to 60 it slowly rose back to room temperature.

I've also seen an episode where someone rigged up a meter and claimed that they could train ghosts to answer questions. Apparently changes in energy would cause the meter to blink. They instructed the ghost to make the meter blink once for yes, twice for no, and occasionally asked it to make the meter go on a blinking spree just to determine if it was actually answering or coincidence. All of the answers matched up with their assumptions about who might be haunting the residence. That was probably the most interesting ghost investigation I've ever seen.

Unless the whole thing is a setup its pretty hard to say that it was pure coincidence. While I don't see it as any sort of definite proof I don't see any good non-spiritual logical explanation as to why that would happen.

A lot of the shows out there are too fake for my tastes. They go out and WANT to prove ghosts exist. Rather than making attempts to find proof and be logical and reasonable they do their best to prove they exist. Nor do mediums interest me because that could too easily be faked. You might give ghost hunters a watch. Its fairly interesting. Its the only ghost/haunting show I've been able to get interested in.

Like aliens I don't dismiss them, but until I see them myself, I am not going to say 100% that they are real.

Some of my mates have had some pretty far out experiences though. One guy I know got woken up one night with some weird half pig/half human like creature standing in his room shouting at him.

I don't see what's so strange about people believing in ghosts. There's no evidence they don't exist, just like there's no evidence that they do...apart from hearsay.

Personally I'm not sure, although I find the subject interesting. I've got a number of books and DVDs about it.
