Default do I have a haunted watch?
ok this is weird and its creeping me out.

I have a Seiko chronograph watch that I rarely use, so its always at home.
once everyday when I return to my room the watch stops exactly at the time I go and check it out, with the seconds arm right at 12.

should I just sell it?

Do you touch it when you check it out? Maybe one of the gears is skewed or something. Something with the mechanism and your physical presence.

But who doesn't have a haunted watch, I thought everyone did?

I have a chronograph watch and the second arm doesnt move unless im "timing" something. The arm used for the seconds is the bottom dial which moves around slowly.

So basically, maybe ur watch doesnt stop when u go see it, it just looks that way because the second arm doesnt move at all like mine, unless u click one of the buttons on the right hand side to start timing or countdown? Then pressing the bottom button will make the "second hand" spin alot faster and stop at 12. U can adjust where it stops on some watches too, so if u want it to reset and stop at 3,6,8,9 or whatever u can alter it, default is 12 though.

Edit: I have a few watches, and I didnt really like how the second hand didnt move so I don't wear this watch all that often now.

thats the thing, I never use/touch this watch except once every 2 weeks at most.
I'll check later today back home to see if the watch is still keeping time even though the second arm is not moving. could probably get it fixed/exchanged.

Your watch doesn't seem to be working properly.

Have you been overclocking it?
