Can anyone tell me about this cube....

a) Is the cube what created Cybertron?
If so, I understand it makes anything turn into Transformers

c) As Cybertron was destroyed by Megatron, does Megatron whats the cube so he can make a new Cybertron?

d) As Megatron is the evil one, is this why the Autobots want to get it first? To stop him making everything Transformers?

e) Does the cube only make evil tranformers? The mobile phone, the coke machine etc all tried to kill the humans.

f) Why do the Autobots destroy the cube and not use it to make a new Cyberton?

I watched transformers as a kid but cant remember anything

ehhhhh I'd have a guess:

c) dont think it was destroyed by him was it? just wars broke out etc?
d) yep pretty much, in hands of evil the cube kills things
e) Good q, I was wondering that cause in the movie at that coke machine bit it's an autobot that has it
f) To stop megatron getting it, 'cause he was too badass for the goodies to beat, so they had to destroy the cube

a) yes the cube is what created cybertron.

c) Megatron wants the cube so he can turn everything into a transformer that obeys him. (In the cartoon beast machines this is what he does when they return to cybertron)

d) The autobots want to stop megatron from getting the cube because they want to let everyone have a choice as to be "destroyed" or not by megatron and the cube. Optimus wants to keep us alive because we have a potential to do something good or whatever he says in the movie.

e) Not sure as to why everything turns evil in the movie. But i do remember that in Beast Wars, the machines that were created did not have sparks to start out with and they were evil until given a good spark to make them good or whatever.

f) And i think thats why the autobots destroy the cube. But i do know that starscream flies away at the end of the movie and theres supposed to be a sequel,

a) Yes the Allspark was the source of all the transformers.
b) My favorite color is green.
c) Cybertron was destroyed because Optimus prime sent the Allspark into space so that Megatron couldn't get his hands on it, without the Allspark cybertron ceased to function.
d) Megatron probably wanted the Allspark for its powerful properties. (dunno)
e) No idea...
f) They do it to prevent Megatron from ever getting his hands on it.

I have just read that one of the writers of the film say that 'new' transformers made from the cude are soul-less, so the are neither good or evil, yet they all seemed pretty evil in the film

Quintessons is the race who created transformers, allspark is eye of the Quintessons five faces of darkness or something, the allspark transformed a whole planet giving those metal **** a life form, then serve as an energy source to the planet, cybertron. Then after some years the Quintessons got bored and want to kill thier own creation, the transformers.

(e) They could have been evil as all of our electronic gadgetry (or at least the basis) was supposed to have been reverse engineered from Megatron himself, so maybe they are showing traits of their origins.

That actually is a pretty good idea regarding why they all start shooting and everything. Never thought about that before but it sorta does make sense.

By the way, what happened to the vendor machine in the end? Seems like they forgot about it. Now its the only bad Transformer left on earth? Edit: Since Starscream raced away into the end I mean.
