Default Teeth Whitening
So I was at Walgreen's shopping around when I saw a $2 teeth whitening kit. It looks the same as the $10 one, just cheaper.

It came with a tube of clear gel stuff that you put in the rubbery tray that also came in the package, and then keep it on your teeth for about 5 minutes at a time.

Has anyone ever used this type of teeth whitener? I have whitening toothpaste, but it doesn't really whiten, just keeps them clean.

My teeth are not gross, I have pretty good oral hygene, but i would like to make my teeth glow more white looking.

Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with teeth whitening stuff you can buy at the store.

I know the dentist uses UV light to whiten teeth, but this is completely different. So far, I can't tell if this gel is working yet. I've only used it for 2 days, so I'll give it more time.

I'd be worried about stuff that is so cheap.
Some cheap products use chemicals that are a little harsher on teeth and gums and can damage the tooth enamel.

To be on the safe side, I'd google the product name and see what "horror stories" come up, there are bound to be a few.

your not suposed to use any proper teeth whitening product without first consulting your dentist, alot of them can strip away the enamel leaving your teeth very sensitive if they dont have a good ph balance

The safest bet would be to just go to the dentist and have him whiten your teeth. Of course from then on it is a price issue.
